Only The Good Stuff Baby!

I think I am becoming a blog surfing junkie! I keep blog hopping and finding some great reads. Just like Bob Dylan, I have been throwing bricks around the blogosphere. More on Bob later! But anyways, here are some of my favorites that I stumbled across:
- Beth @ Life With Two Little Vikings has a post called Are You Happy? that really spoke to me. If I sat down on a regular basis and wrote down the things I was thankful for, it would really help me. Beth has an interesting blog, go check it out when you get a moment.
- I also found the online Martha Stewart for the rest of us! Her name is actually Debbie and she runs Real World Martha’s Weblog. I liked the mind bender that she had up, along with her excellent breakdown of the TV show, ‘What Would You Do?’, my wife and I have been watching this show and it has sparked some pretty interesting conversations.
- I am constantly either really amused or totally amazed at the independent thoughts my children come up with. On this note, I found a post at In Due Season that made me laugh out loud. Anita wrote about her 5 year old daughter who after hearing Bob Dylan singing on the car radio, said to her Dad, “Hey Dad, I didn’t know you could sing like that!” LOL. To quote Bill Cosby, “Kids say the darnedest things”.
- I also discovered Tena’s blog called Budget Help$ that lists some great freebies and coupons that will help you stay on your household budget. Some nice tips, worth a look.
- Mama T shares the knowledge with how she feeds a family of 8 for $75 a week at A Life At Home. Her weekly menu looks awesome, we aren’t talking franks and beans 3 nights a week. Very impressive, go take a look!
- Shannon has what appears to be a very popular blog called Rocks In My Dryer that really impressed me. On her blog, she documented her trip to Africa and how the experience affected her. She has a great writing style that pulls you in and totally engrosses you.
- With Spring finally in the air, I am getting very excited for baseball season to start. I’m actually coaching my son’s T-ball team this year, should be a lot of fun! Katie at Frugal Fabulous has a post Take Me Out To The Ballgame!, where she talks about some great ways to enjoy going to ball games without breaking the bank. A woman who blogs about baseball is A-O-K in my book!
- And last, but not least, Jeana at Days To Come has some great posts on frugal living and other creative ways to save money. I particularly liked her advice in the post Slow and Steady Wins the Race where she talks about making changes to a more frugal lifestyle slowly so you don’t burn out. Jeana gives bloggers like me hope, as her tagline is “Four kids, three pets, two blogs, one husband, and anything else that comes to mind. Discuss.” Hilarious!

Thanks for the hat tip/link love!! I wish I could take credit for that post but it was really only my notes on my pastor’s sermon outline! LOL
You mean you weren’t a blog surfing junkie already?
Good point! I have been afflicted for awhile now!
It’s good to know there’s more than one of us blog junkies out there! I have so many blog feeds in my list now, that there really aren’t enough hours in the day…and just think of all the great blogs that we haven’t stumbled upon (yet)
