Cool Bloggy News
I have been meaning to get to this post for over a week now. I have documented some good stuff from around the web the last couple weeks that I wanted to share with y’all.
- First of all, I want to thank writer Geoff Williams for doing a nice interview with me over at Wallet Pop.com yesterday. We did a fun little Q&A about coupons. Talked about who is using coupons and why. Plus a quick tip on how to organize and use your grocery store coupons. Geoff, like me, is a father with two daughters and a wife who is a stay-at-home Mom (the hardest job in the world). He also has a book out about the true story of a long forgotten 1928 foot race from L.A. to New York, called C.C. Pyle’s Amazing Foot Race that looks like a really fun summer read. I love nostalgic narratives like this and am all over this one like white on rice!
- I also found Emily’s blog called The Little Window Shoppe which has a bunch of neat tips and advice for parents to make life a little easier. My wife has turned into a subscriber of her blog and thinks it’s terrific. Go take a peak for yourself.
- Along the same lines as Emily’s blog, I found Simple Mom.net to have some great tips and advice for Moms and Dads. Today, for example, she has a great post about Making Nutritious, Simple Baby Food From Scratch. With a 1 year old running around our home right now, I have printed out some of her recipes for us to try!
- Also, I found a article written by Jack Zavada, titled 10 Smartest Ways to Live Beneath Your Means, over at Dumb Little Man. Some great advice for thriving while the economy isn’t! A great read.
Have a great weekend!
