		<description>Hmm.. never thought of it that way. We use Amazon wishlists, but use them more for just that - a wishlist for each of us. It&#039;s not necessarily what the kids&#039;ll get, but it helps for the grandparents and relatives who have no idea what to get them.  I rely on my niece &amp; nephew&#039;s lists, as it seems they have everything I can think of getting them on my own. 
We still have the interaction with the relatives beforehand and thank you calls &amp; cards are always required no matter what the gift is.
Perhaps this makes us too materialistic? Maybe, but we do still set limits on how much money is spent on gifts.</description>

		<description>No, it makes me twitch too.  I&#039;m trying to raise decent human beings who are grateful for anything special that comes their way- not greedy little boogers.  I wish everyone else felt this way too.</description>
