Sonic happy hour is a big hit in our home. You see, my wife is a kindergarten teacher and there’s a Sonic Drive-In exactly halfway between her school and our home. So at least once a week she brings home happy hour drinks from Sonic for all of us. She is so dang awesome. Anyways, here is how their happy hour breaks down and what drinks provide the most bang for your buck.

Sonic Happy Hour Info & Tips (What Drinks are the Best Value)

When is the Sonic Happy Hour?

Their happy hour is everyday of the week, and lasts between 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM.

What Discounts Do You Get Between 2-4 pm?

Stop by Sonic Drive-In between 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and get HALF-OFF all Slushes, Limeades, Teas, and Sodas.

Unfortunately, this does not include Milk Shakes or Creamslushes.

What are the Best Happy Hour Deals?

When stopping by Sonic for Happy Hour these drinks provide the most bang for your buck:

  • Limeade (Route 44 size): Regularly priced at $2.59, you’ll get this 44 oz. behemoth for just a buck-thirty. You can get it in cherry, strawberry, lime, or cranberry. Split it with someone and it’ll only cost $0.65.
  • Real Fruit Slush (Route 44 size): For a happy hour price of $1.50, you get a 44 oz. slush that tastes like a smoothie. Compare the price to Jamba Juice where a smoothie this size would cost over $6. Pick from lemon, lemonberry, strawberry, pineapple, or lime.
  • Corn Dogs are only 99 Cents during Happy Hour: That’s a darn cheap (and very tasty) corn dog, might as well pick up a couple.

Bonus: Through 8/27/17, Sonic Drive-In has a late night “happy hour” where you can get milkshakes and ice cream slushes for 50% off after 8:00 PM.
