How Many Return Days Are Allowed?
You have up to 30 days from date of purchase to return your PacSun item for any reason.
Do I Need My Receipt?
Yes and no.
You can still return items without a receipt (depending on the item) at PacSun.
If you have the original receipt, this is ideal as you’ll be credited back the full price you paid for the item.
However, you can still exchange or receive a merchandise credit for non-markdown items that are returned without a receipt.
If you choose to receive a merchandise credit, you will receive a value equal to the lowest selling price of the item in the last 30-day period.
Can Items Be Worn or Laundered?
You technically cannot return clothes that have been worn or washed.
You MIGHT be able to get away with returning an item that’s been worn, but has kept its original condition and has the tags on it.
However, swimwear and other items that have hygiene liners that have been removed and worn cannot be returned for hygienic purposes.
What Happens If I Lost My Receipt?
If you lost your receipt, you can STILL make returns without a receipt; however, you’re significantly limited by the items value and how you get your actual refund.
Without a receipt, you can still return non-markdown items.
Yet, you can ONLY make exchanges or receive a merchandise credit that is equal to the lowest selling price of the item.
You cannot return or exchange markdown items without the original receipt.
What Are My Return Options on Defective Items?
If you buy and wear something from PacSun and notice a defect like poor stitching, or any noticeable flaw, you HAVE some options.
First, start a Live Chat session with them and explain the issue.
In almost all scenarios, you’ll be a given a couple options.
1. If the “flawed” item is out-of-stock, they’ll offer you a 1-time 30% refund on the item.
If you really like the item, and the flaw is hardly noticeable, this could be a great option.
2. Also, if the item is out-of-stock OR in-stock, you can return it for a full refund, both in-store or via the mail.
If mailing back the item is more convenient, tell the chat rep and they’ll email you a prepaid shipping label.
Can I Return PacSun FOG (Fear of God) Items?
FOG Essentials are ALL final sale and may not be returned, modified or exchanged due to high demand.

Do They Offer an Extended Holiday Return Period?
PacSun does have an extended holiday return policy.
Purchases made from November 1st – December 14th are eligible for a return through January 15 of the new year.
Any purchases made outside of this time period are subject to the normal 30-day return window.
Are Any Products Not Returnable?
Several products are definitely not returnable.
You CANNOT return earrings, masks, or women’s underwear for hygiene purposes.
Any swimwear that does not have its original tags attached or the hygiene liner still attached cannot be returned.
Do Online Orders Have the Same Policy?
For PacSun online orders, you have up to 30 days from the shipment date to make your return.
Who Pays Return Shipping Costs?
You are responsible for the return shipping costs which is a bummer.
While you don’t have to pay any upfront shipping costs, $7 will be taken out of your refund.
For this reason, it’s smart to return any online purchases to a brick & mortar PacSun location as you won’t be hit with the $7 charge.
How Do I Make an Online Return?
If you need to return your online purchase by mail, follow these simple steps:
– Start your return by clicking HERE.
– Correctly fill out your information, print out your return label, and securely attach it to your return package.
– Securely place the items you wish to return in the package.
– Drop off the package at a UPS Access Point.
Keep in mind that it may take a couple of weeks for PacSun to receive and process your return.
And, don’t forget if you are making an online return, your total refund will be $7 less due to the return shipping fees.
