Back in 2009, a guy named Len Rapoport made it his mission to put together the best resource available online on how to save money at Costco. His resource has grown to over 6,000 words and is a must read for consumers who love to shop the retail giant. Many call it the “Ultimate Guide for Costco Shoppers”.

According to all accounts, he was the first to crack the price tag code at Costco, which for those of you who aren’t familiar, you can look at the shelf tag at Costco and in many cases figure out if you’re paying full price or getting a sale or clearance price.

This is especially valuable at Costco because they don’t clearly mark things as on sale or clearance. But if you know what you’re looking for you can figure out where the deals are located.

But his resource covers more than just the price tag codes. You’ll also learn about the following about Costco:

  • Their fantastic return policy.
  • Seasonal Mark-Downs and when to buy them.
  • How to tell when an item will be discontinued.
  • How to find Manager Specials.
  • How to do fast price comparisons in the store.
  • Understanding their Price Protection Guarantee.
  • What they do with their Returns.
  • How Costco gets those designer labeled merchandise.

His article has close to 1 million views and unlike many resources and eBooks that charge you to read it, it is completely FREE. Below is a snapshot of Len’s article, click on it to read the entire thing.

Len confidently states that he “guarantees that any Costco shopper will save even more money once they follow the steps detailed in his article.”

I no doubt believe it, definitely worth reading before you make your next trip to popular warehouse club.
