How Big Is Their Pizza?

It’s your standard “personal style” pizza.

When my daughter would order a pizza from Subway it came in at around 6″ – 7″ in diameter.

It’s a decent size and definitely will fill-up most kids.

What Does It Cost?

Around $6-$7.

The price of the Subway pizza varies by location.

The last time I ordered it, probably 10 years ago, it cost $4.99 but I’m sure it’s gone up in price significantly since then.

What Toppings Can I Have?

You can have your pizza topped with any topping that you can put on a Subway sandwich.

The pizza starts with just cheese, then you can top it with pepperoni, salami, ham, peppers, olives, and onions to name a few toppings.

The only popular pizza topping that you won’t find at Subway include sausage, pineapple, and anchovies.

Do They Make the Crust Fresh In-Store?

No.

Their pizza crust comes already made (and frozen) with just cheese on it.

The Subway “sandwich artist” will defrost it, then add some fresh cheese along with whatever toppings you want.

They’ll then toss it in the toaster over for a couple minutes and pull it out when the cheese is melted.

If you like a little bit of crunch in your pizza you may not like the Subway pizza as it’s fairly thick crust and quite soft.

Is There a Sandwich That Tastes Like Pizza?

Yes, but you won’t find it on the “regular” menu.

Instead you’ll find the sandwich tucked away on the Subway “secret” menu.

Simply order the Pizza Sub and if the employees gives you a blank stare you’ll need to order it by ingredient.

• Pick your bread.
• Next, ask for red tomato sauce (which they use for their meatballs).
• Add pepperoni.
• Add cheese of your choice.
• Ask for it toasted.
• Lastly, have them sprinkle on some parmesan cheese.

I’ve ordered it a few times over the years and it’s a yummy (and gooey) sub for pizza lovers.

Any Other “Non-Sandwich” Items at Subway?

Yes, there are a few other “non-sandwich” options and they include the following…

Salad – They have dozens of popular salad options that include the Steak & Cheese, Tuna, Veggie Delite, Mozza Meat, and BLT to name a few.

Soup – Some Subway locations serve hot soup like Minestrone, Veggie, and even Clam Chowder.

Wraps – Popular wraps include Roast Beef, Spicy Italian, and Rotisserie-Style Chicken.

In actuality you can pretty much get any sandwich in the form of wrap.

You have 2 choices for your wrap “bread” and they include tomato basil and spinach.

Now that the USPS is delivering Amazon packages by the millions every year, it has many shoppers wondering if they’ll get their packages delivered late at night, or after their regular mail is delivered. So I decided to go out and figure out just how late USPS will deliver regular mail along with packages. The short answer is it depends and the long answer will require you to continue reading. I hope you find this information useful.

So…How Late Does USPS Deliver to My Address?

According to the USPS, their “official” cut off time for package delivery is 5 p.m..

But it’s not uncommon for mail delivery to to be well after 5 p.m., especially under certain circumstances.

Specifically, circumstances like bad weather, and increased package delivery due to the Christmas holiday, can push deliveries all the way to 9 p.m. or later.

I’ve personally had Amazon packages (delivered by the USPS) show up on my doorstep well after 8 p.m. in mid-December.

Often times the late deliver will be the result of a “second run” of packages, usually delivered by seasonal workers, to try to reduce package bottleneck in December.

Do I Have to Be Home to Get Late Delivery?

No.

The only exception to this “rule” is if a signature is required in order for a letter or package to be delivered.

Will USPS Take a Scheduled Pick-Up After Hours?

Yes.

If you set-up a scheduled pickup with the postal service they will still grab it, even if it’s after-hours.

If it’s dark out you may want to put your package in a well lit area so the postal carrier can find it easily.

Will Amazon Packages Be Delivered After Regular Mail?

No.

Amazon packages delivered by the USPS will ALWAYS be delivered with the regular mail, even at night after 5 p.m..

This goes for all packages, not just those brown boxes we tend to collect from Amazon.

Does Late Delivery Happen on Weekends Too?

Yes.

It doesn’t matter what day of the week, it’s still possible to get delivery as late as 9 p.m. under certain circumstances.

Are Postal Workers Suppose to Work This Late?

No.

I talked to two separate postal workers that do my route and they both said the maximum they can work is 12 hours in a single day.

They also said the most they have worked is from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a 30 minute lunch break.

One of them told me he would work until 11 p.m. during the holidays at his previous post but it was not sustainable for his mental health.

Does It Make a Difference If I Live in a Rural Area?

Possibly, yes.

I live out in the country and there have been many days when I get late delivery.

After talking to my postal carrier, he said that many rural carriers have trouble getting everything done by 5 p.m., especially when their van is packed full of Amazon packages.

What About Late Night “Overnight” Delivery?

If you send a package with overnight shipping, (also known as Priority Mail Express) and are wondering if it’s possible to get it delivered on the same day, but with late night delivery, this WILL NOT happen.

Mail carriers will typically only delivery the packages that were loaded on their vehicle in the morning, making it impossible for the above scenario to actually happen.
